Half Day Tour To Doi Suthep Temple & Meo Village

Visit the secret temple of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep on a morning or afternoon tour. Climb up the mountainside for a panoramic view from the temple. And then visit Hmong tribal village called Baan Doi Pui or Phuping palace.

What you’ll do

Drive to Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep (A.D. 1384). The most elaborated temple in Chiang Mai. Containing a holy relic of Lord Buddha with Challenging flight of over 306 steps, flanked by enormous mythological Naga. A Panoramic view of the city can be seen from here at 3,500 about sea level. Then visit Meo hill tribe village at Doi Pou and then back to the hotel with happiness.

​There are 306 steps to get to the temple, built in the 16th century. The old Tradition way to reach the temple is by climbing the staircase. Even though there is a funicular tram that carries passengers up the top, people still use this staircase in order to get up and down because most people believe that doing this brings good luck.

Half day morning: Pick up time is 8.00-8.30 am, Return 12.30-13.00 pm.

Half day afternoon: pick up time is 13.00-13.30 pm. Return 17.00-17.30 pm.
