2 Days 1 Night Trekking in Doi Inthanon National Park Area

What you’ll do

Day 1

• Daily 7:30 – 8.00 am
• We will pick you up at your hotel/guest house and drive from the city to the local market for about 40 mins to buy fresh supplies before making our way to the Karen village.
• On arrival, we will start our hike into the jungle making our way to a waterfall, a touch of beautiful nature in the mountains where we can take a swim and relax.
• After that, we will hike a little more into the jungle, stopping for lunch on our way before moving towards another Karen village through the local farmland. Here, you will get to see the Karen hill tribe and learn all about their culture (total hiking time will be about 6 – 7 hrs).
• This Karen village is where we will stay overnight and enjoy learning how to cook Thai food with our tour guide.
• After having a relaxing dinner, check out the campfire, where we will gather around, have a small party, and share each other’s stories whilst gazing at the starlit sky, sharing an experience that you will never forget.

       Day 2

• After breakfast, we will start our hike through the forest and enjoy the beautiful surroundings before having lunch at a hill tribe village.
• After lunch, we will hike for approximately 3 hrs to a beautiful waterfall where you can enjoy swimming and relaxing.
• After our hike and waterfall visit, we will walk back to the truck and return to the Chiang Mai city centre at around 5 pm.

What to bring on tour:

Long/short pants, long/short sleeve shirt, sports shoes, socks, sandals, towel, swimming suit, sunscreen, insect repellant, toilet paper, a small bag, personal medication and a small flashlight

What’s provided:

Hill tribe’s village accommodation, 4 meals, insurance, English-speaking guide and transportation|

This trip is for people who looking for a more authentic trek and who love nature and trekking.

Option: You can pay extra 700 baht per person to do the trek with elephant care and bamboo rafting.
