1 Day Chiang Rai Trip

This one day tour takes you all the way up North to the border between Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar as people known as the Golden triangle. Also, visit the white temple or Wat Rong Khun on the way.

What you’ll do

After 07.00 am pick up from hotel or guesthouse in Chiang Mai city, we will depart for Chiang Rai, stop at Mae Kachan Hot Spring for a short break. Visit Wat Rong Khun or the white temple before continuing to the Golden triangle. Visit Chiang Saen Ancient city, Baan Dam Museum and Blue temple. You will see Thailand, Laos and Myanmar borders from the Golden triangle viewpoint. We will stop for lunch before visiting Maesai (Thai and Myanmar Border) where local people trade goods without taxes. Visit to Akha and Palong hill tribe village on the way back to Chiang Mai.

1. Enjoy a long-tail boat trip on the mighty Mae Khong River, extra 300 baht/person (Land Tax 30 Baht)
2. Visit Karen Long hill tribe village, extra 300 baht/person
